Hope you woke up feeling better..lonliness is brutal, think working out of your home can make it worse, I had to get an “out of my house” job, after many years of working out of my apt. Otherwise I am with Pistola..I run intervals until I can’t stand up..then get some sleep – sleep deprivation definitely makes everything seem worse.

What worked for me was reading an engaging book or watching a fantasy/sci-fi movie of some sort. Being swept away to another world takes you away from the troubles of this one. The one book I read that changed everything was “The Secret”. I friend gave it to me when she saw I was in a bad way. Once I read that and practiced what it taught, it all came together for me and I’ve been happy as a clam ever since. That stuff about drawing positive or negative energy to yourself with your thoughts may sound like a bunch of nonsense, but it works!
I recommend getting out of the house on a daily basis. I’ve never been a fan of working from home. Being holed up in one’s home all day with little human contact is definitely depressing. Lastly, everyone should also be on the lookout for signs of Seasonal Affective Disorder (“SAD”). I used to have it. This is the time of year that it kicks in. The recommended treatment is light therapy with a special lamp.
