He’s just not that type and I don’t like to be hugged or touched by anyone unless necessary, either so I understand why he’s like that.
He and my mother never hugged us, played with us, or talked to us……but my father shows his love by “fixing things” and defending/protecting/providing for all of us without ever a single complaint, without having an attitude about it, and encouraged my sister and I to be whatever we want to be and not give a shit about society, opinion, or anything other than family/blood/children.
He was a perfect father and still is. Everyone (including all my exes and boyfriends) immediately likes my dad for inexplicable reasons. I’ve also never heard a single human talk down to him, insult him, or even look wrong at him. And since he never yells, speaks up, or gets violent……he clearly knows better how to get through life than 99% of people on earth.
I’ve told you a zillion times. You can insult me all day and I don’t give a fuck…..but you don’t say a damn thing about any members of my family. They’re all wonderful and kind people and we are a family who actually ACTS like a family unlike most other people. I’m proud of us, our name, and the fact that we don’t dick each other over, lie, abuse, and mistreat each other. That’s more important than anything I could gain in life, so if that is “stupid” to you then I guess your priorities are different than mine and that’s fine……but don’t pretend to “know” my family because you don’t.
